At Silbar Security, giving back to the communities we serve is one of our core values. On May 23, 2025, we proudly partnered with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive, right in our very own training room in Chesapeake. The event ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and was open to the public, including our staff, clients, and local residents.
A Day of Giving
The turnout exceeded our expectations. Thank you to all who came out to support the cause, and for your generosity! Each unit can potentially save up to three lives, meaning this single afternoon will positively impact many patients in need.
Filling an Urgent Need
Blood donations are essential year-round, but the need becomes especially urgent during the summer months, when donation rates tend to dip. By organizing this event, we aimed to help fill that critical gap and promote awareness around the importance of regular blood donation.
We were proud to see so many of our employees step up and roll up their sleeves alongside members of the community.
